Pystronaut

We started building Pystronaut using Unity with C# as the main programming language. I focused on creating a backend system that could handle player progress, in-game trivia, and checkpoint data. I developed systems that would dynamically load content, store user data, and manage different gameplay states — all written in C# and fully integrated into Unity.

To keep track of all code and project changes, especially when collaborating with teammates, I used Plastic SCM for version control. It helped us manage updates, branches, and collaboration without running into merge conflicts — a must for smooth development.

When I wanted to make the game multiplayer, I integrated Alteruna, a networking framework for Unity. This allowed real-time player interactions, such as co-op gameplay, syncing movement, and collaborative terminal usage. I built the logic for hosting and joining sessions, syncing objects, and testing online to ensure smooth multiplayer functionality.
